Kevin @ CrackBerry managed to score some more pictures of the Javelin. There are not pictures of the real device but they show off some of the major features. I guess this is starting to explain why everybody who plays with the device thinks it is the next Curve and slightly preferable to the Bold.

I am not so into the whole touchscreen idea myself but Fudzilla is reporting that the Thunder is scheduled to launch on Verizon on October 8th. David Stellmack does qualify that prediction by saying that it still needs to “clean the final Verizon hurdles.”

So the touchscreen BlackBerry is still a ways off but Kevin @ CrackBerry has managed to snag some pics of the touchscreen live. One shot is of the keyboard in landscape mode which is full QWERTY. The second is in portrait mode with a screwy kind of SureType going on.

UPDATE: From what I am hearing the current implementation of Nuance on the Bold is just a replacement for the previous Voice Signal voice dialing application. There are rumblings that it might be extended to device control.
