I have been jealous of my British friends SpinVox service for quite awhile. SpinVox is a Voicemail to text message service that only really worked in Europe until recently. The downside is that Rogers implementation seems to be based on SMS messages without the option of getting the transcribed voicemails as an email.
If you are not a Rogers subscriber (like [...]

Review: Neosistec CarFinder
Rating: 8.5/10
OTA Install: bb.Neosistec.com/carfinder
Version: 0.70 Beta
Josep just let me know about a new free application by Neosistec that uses GPS to help you find your car. The only caveat is that it requires GPS on your BlackBerry. It worked great on my BlackBerry 8310.

I have always held close the dream that one day I would be able to replace all my portable gadgets with my BlackBerry. While this has not yet come to pass I have started using my Curve as an MP3 player. I just cannot use the video player because it is very clunky. It is [...]

The truth is that the [...]

Josep just sent me a link to an interesting piece of software that is scheduled to be released soon. The software, PhoneBAK BB, is developed by a company called Bak2u and is supposed to help you get a lost or stolen phone back. The idea behind the software is that when a person finds or [...]

I was just reading a great forum post by Stinsonddog (good guy by the way if you are looking for answers to hard questions) about using this application, Karen’s Replicator, to backup your BlackBerrys SD card when you connect it to your PC. There are hundreds of applications that do this but this application seems to [...]

Review: REXwireless ToDoMatrix
Website: www.REXWireless.com
Rating: 6/10
Cost: $59.95-$99.98
As the old saying goes,”If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!”. This has got to be one of the most complicated programs I have ever used. If you are after a To Do list with all the bells and whistles this may be right on target. The software is [...]
