Rating: 8.0/10
Cost: $6.95 at the BerryReview store
This review is brought to you by Summer, Luciano and some of our favorite readers.
I can attest to being part of the few who hate having to stop what they’re doing on their BlackBerry to check their emails. It’s not so much the flashing red LED that drives [...]

Not sure if this is worth trying but Stefano sent me a link to this new free IM & social network client called Nimbuzz which supports the BlackBerry. He did a review of it but sadly it is not in English. (Google Translate link here)

Just heard from David that E*Trade’s Mobile application now works on the Bold. Not sure how many people are trading with the current situation and also have a Bold but at least E*Trade is still updating the application instead of just leaving it stagnant.

Luis let me know that The Street teamed up with Polar Mobile to create a free BlackBerry application. It allows you to access certain parts of The Street from your BlackBerry. I am not sure how well it works but it looks purty.
I am not sure why you would not just use a multipurpose [...]

Paula let me know that EA has released SimCity for BlackBerry. When I heard about it I suddenly had flashbacks of SimCity 2000 from back in the day… Anybody feel the same? It turns out that the graphics of SimCity for BlackBerry look similar to the classic. The game is an expensive $14.99 at [...]

I know I have received the “Message truncated due to size” error before on my BlackBerry and was always wondering what it meant. Turns out that according to this knowledgebase article there is a max email size of 8Mb on BIS. Due to the Base64 encoding overhead that 8MB figure translates into about a 5Mb [...]

Since I started using the Bold I had trouble taking screenshots with my older version of the free BBScreenShooter application. (Version 1.61 I think) Turns out that the good guys at Oppitronic have released an update since I last downloaded the application to bring the latest version to 1.62b. This version supports the 7xxx, [...]
