PictureID - Full Screen Picture ID

I know some people have been squinting at the small picture in the picture ID provided by RIM. ToySoft hopes to solve that issue by providing a full screen picture ID application for BlackBerry. They are still working out a few quirks but the developer is truly dedicated to making this app great. They are [...]

Vlingo WiFi Fix To Come In August

After we posted our last Vlingo update we are still getting reports back from readers that Vlingo is not working. Turns out that the WiFi permissions issue exists even if you don’t have WiFi on your phone. One of our writers decided to email them about the issue and got the following response:
We have identified [...]

CrazySoft Games! Snake Deluxe & More

I just happened to discover some CrazySoft games over the weekend that I had never heard of before. They have quite a few games ranging from Snake to some cool role playing adventure games like Final Battle & Lost In The Pyramid. The games look very slick and well done but their Achilles heel is [...]

Google Calendar Sync Version .4.4 Released - No Changelog

Matt sent in a tip that Google Calendar Sync that we mentioned before has been upgraded. The new version is .4.4 compared to the older .4.2 release.
No idea what is changed in the new update since Google does not believe in changelogs. (I consider not having changelogs evil!)
So if you are using Google Sync for [...]

Roboform For BlackBerry
Cost: Free
Link: http://www.roboform.com/blackberry.html
We have talked about the public beta for Roboform for BlackBerry back in June. It looks like things are progressing well.

Once again no changelogs so we have no idea what changed.
Let us know if you find anything new.

I just got an email from David that the owner of BlackBerryThemes.co.uk decided to make all of his premium themes for the 8300 & 8800 now free. While I feel bad if you purchased them already this is great for the rest of us. These are not the newest theme out there but they [...]

FAQ: Desktop Manager Downgrading Documents To Go?

I know many people have been complaining about one issue with Documents to Go since we mentioned the free update that added Sheets to Go. People found that if you connected your BlackBerry to your computer & desktop manager after installing the update it would downgrade Documents to go back to the default older version.
Turns out Brian [...]
