Josep just sent me a link to a press release by a company called SyncWizard. They have released a (seemingly free) product that hopes to integrate all of your contact information and personal information from a wide array of devices including BlackBerrys. It syncs bookmarks, wallpapers, documents, pictures, music, and most importantly contacts and calendars. [...]

Social networking has gone through quite a few tries on the BlackBerry with none of them sticking except for Facebook. (which is not even BB specific) Devin of BBcool reported yesterday about the release of yet another attempt at the BlackBerry social network.
The ones I remember so far:
pinppl.com
dateberry.com
bbmnation.com
BlackBerry Pin Exchange
And now BlackBerry Ave. I am not sure [...]

I know people have been complaining for quite awhile that the Opera products lock you into one search default. Until now this was Yahoo only. As the Google Mobile Blog & Google System blog reports Google will now be the default search engine for Opera products starting next month. Hopefully when this changes we will be able [...]

I was just reading about a great new service last week which I finally got to try yesterday. The website is called BigOven and has tens of thousands of recipes in mobile friendly format. The best part is that they also have pictures!!! The website shows the recipes with pictures first. I hate recipes without pictures. [...]

All I have to say is that this just makes sense. LinkedIn is one of the top if not the top social networking site for professionals. With the BlackBerry being the smartphone of choice for professionals this seems to be the obvious next step.
ZDnet got a quote from LinkedIn chief executive Dan Nye that LinkedIn [...]

I just got an email from one of our readers Tom that iTOOKthisONmyPhone.com now allows you to automatically post pictures that you take from your cellphone to the website. This is pretty damn cool especially for a free application!
I actually heard about this on BlackBerryForums before when it was in demo. This truly makes iTOOKthisONmyPhone [...]

I was just one of my regular mobile blogs, wapreview.com, and came upon a post Dennis published on February 4th. It turns out that Opera made some serious upgrades to their server software on February 3rd. I was surprised since I had not heard a word about it. I didn’t even know Opera would be [...]

Hayden has scored once again by getting details on one of the nichiest (is that a word?) accessory for BlackBerry devices. It is called the Bayalink Liberty and it has a very specific function. It allows you to use certain BlackBerry functions from your laptop such as sending email, browsing the internet, or open attachments through [...]

One of our readers, Nikolaus, sent me an email about a new version of the BlackBerry Facebook application that is now available. The new version is 1.0.0.22 which is newer than the older 1.0.0.18. The problem is that nobody can figure out what changed in the newer version. Personally I don’t see the point in [...]

Monica just tipped me off about an interesting new application for BlackBerry that has just entered Beta. I guess after our previous post about 3rd party email clients for BlackBerry there has been quite a bit of interest in the field. I did not realize that there was a serious demand for a third party email client [...]
