Review: GoogHelper version 1.01
Rating: 7.0/10
Cost: $ 4.95
One feature I’ve always wanted to have in my Blackberry is the ability to “speed dial” a Web site. I already can press and hold the letter “h” to call Halevy or hold “m” to call Myers, but all letters of the alphabet are available and I don’t [...]

Paypal Mobile has been around for a bit but I wanted to give it a try for myself. I like the idea of being able to browse Ebay while I’m waiting at the doctors or wherever and then instantly purchasing an item if I want. Thanks to Paypal Mobile, it’s easy.
Once you have a Paypal [...]

Recently I found myself using this wonderful free service from Mail2Web on my BlackBerry. There are some email accounts that I have that I almost never use but every once in awhile I need to check. I would get a ton of spam if I hooked them up through the BIS but this solution works. [...]

Which reading an email I got today from igloo.mobi I noticed a cool new website that I had to [...]

Stefano sent me a link to a great review on PinStack by CherriChiodo. She did a very nice review of the website www.MizPee.com. The idea behind the website is that it tells you where you can find the nearest public toilet with quite a bit of good information.
It gives you a rating based on the [...]

Review: IM+ for Skype
Rating: 7.0/10
OTA: NA
Cost: $29.95
Have you ever wanted to have a good VoIP program in your Blackberry? How about Skype? Skype is the de facto standard for VoIP on the desktop. That’s what “everybody uses”. But neither RIM nor Skype gives Blackberry addicts any help with that. I don’t blame RIM, there [...]

Vlingo, not to be mistaken with the Vringo offering we just mentioned, is a voice recognition firm. They have just helped Yahoo come out with a new voice powered search service for Yahoo OneSearch. Knowing Yahoo the application will probably be great but it will be a resource and bandwidth hog.
Devin has some first impressions [...]

Link: tvguide.handmark.com

Cost: Free!!!
Handmark decided to flip pricing models on this one. Their TV Guide application is now free and supported by advertisements in the application. Personally I think that is how it should have been for the get go. The information and options in the application [...]

I just got an email from Plusmo about a new widget they have added to their Plusmo application. Truthfully you don’t even need the Plusmo application to get to the information but I think the application allows for live updates without a refresh. The page will try to refresh by itself but the browser will [...]
