Windows Live Hotmail Push Email & Messenger For BlackBerry?

Well we have heard this promise before when it comes to the Windows Messenger. They promised us a native RIM IM client and it turns out that it was locked to only a few carriers and required you to pay a monthly fee. Hopefully this latest press release from RIM will change that story. RIM [...]

Multiple protocols with GTalk

Sometimes, it seems that some people don’t realize that GTalk is a Jabber client and that allows them to have several protocols like MSN, ICQ, AIM etc. Since GTalk is free, you can have all these chat protocols in your Blackberry for free as well. The process may be a little bit strange to many [...]

Google Talk Updated To 2.0.46 - No Idea Why…

One of our regulars, Nikolaus, just let me know that there is a new version of the official Google Talk Client for BlackBerry. The version has been updated from 2.0.43 to the latest 2.0.46.
Once again there is no changelog and I have not seen any difference but since I have been having a heap of [...]

Google Talk Issues - Version 2.0.43 Available

Over the last 2 weeks I have been experiencing some serious issues with Google Talk. The application would act up constantly. I get error messages such as the one shown on the left 5–6 times a day. The application would experience an error and sign off without me being the wiser.
The application would also throw [...]

Have you ever wanted to have a good VoIP program in your Blackberry? How about Skype? Skype is the de facto standard for VoIP on the desktop. That’s what “everybody uses”. But neither RIM nor Skype gives Blackberry addicts any help with that. I don’t blame RIM, there [...]

There are now two major features in Google Gmail Chat that I really wish would come to the BlackBerry. The first is group chat which I have mentioned before. The second is the new invisible mode that Google has introduced over the weekend.
Think about it now. When you sign into GoogleTalk from your BlackBerry you [...]

WebMessenger Mobile IM Application Now FREE!

Personally I think this is a move WebMessenger should have made ages ago. They are now offering their WebMessenger Mobile IM application for free! WebMessenger was the first IM client that I remember for BlackBerry devices back in 2000. WebMessenger allows you to login to AIM, Google, MSN, and Yahoo from your BlackBerry!
Pretty cool and [...]
