I just got an email in my inbox from SHAPE. It seems like the beta GPSed application we told you about previously has added quite a few features. SHAPE Services, the creators of GPSed, seem to be serious about fleshing out this free client. The idea is that the application keeps a tracklog of where you [...]

MobiReport just let me know about their latest software release called Berry Locator. At first I was skeptical just like I am with most of these anti-theft software solutions but I actually found the program extremely useful. On top of that it is reasonably priced at $4.95.
The softwares use is actually quite simple. It installs [...]

The SameCell application uses locations of [...]

Paul sent in a tip earlier that Google Maps has been updated from version 2.0.1 to version 2.0.2. As you may remember version 2 of Google Maps brought us location tracking VIA cellphone towers. This new version 2.0.2 has no changelog (come on Google!) and when I installed it I really could not tell any difference between [...]

Trimble Outdoors has released their GPS applications for BlackBerry today. The app compatibility is confusing. The press release says that it is only compatible with CDMA but their website says it is compatible with both GSM & CDMA so I can’t speak either way. I don’t really understand the details so I will just leave you with the [...]
