As we told you previously, Magmic has released “The Legend Of Spyro – A New Beginning” game for general consumption. This game came out of the Vivendi partnership we told you about previously. We have gotten a ton of emails asking about the free EA Games that were supposed to be available after CES. It seems that “after CES” means not exactly after CES. I have heard no word back from RIM about the games so I can’t offer much more than that.

I just noticed an announcement on RIM’s CES microsite about 3 free games from EA Mobile that will be available after CES. RIM is giving away copies of Holiday Midnight Pool for the BlackBerry Curve and Pearl series devices. This game seems to be Gameloft’s Holiday Midnight Pool game for the BlackBerry.
The downloads are available from the BlackBerry Owners Lounge and do not have OTA options. I never really understood RIM’s reasoning for separating their mobile site [...]

Magmic has just announced and released 2 new games for BlackBerry. The first is NBA 2–on-2 Slam which looks like a cool 3D Basketball game. I think that is the second major sports game I have seen from Magmic after NFL Gridiron.
