Both Mark & Josep sent me a link that TVersity that we mentioned back in May is now available in their latest Release Candidate. Keep in mind this is not an official release and is just a Release Candidate which is essentially admitting that there are bugs. TVersity lets you stream your media collection to [...]

Jason sent in this theme by Akakios on Themes4BB. It looked quite good so I thought I would mention it. The Icons overlap a bit on the zen menu but that is the only fault. I tried it myself and it looks good with many nature backgrounds that I like.
The top bar is nice and [...]

I know this application is not new but it never really worked with the latest batch of BlackBerry devices. Recently a friend of mine installed it on his Verizon 8830 with OS 4.5 and now it works! I also tried it on a 8330 with OS 4.5 and that also worked. They still claim that [...]

Kevin @ CrackBerry just let me know that they released a free theme that really looks nice. It is obviously based on a corkboard and kind of reminds me of grade school for some reason. I absolutely love the custom icons on this one. They are goofy and crisp and fit in perfectly with the [...]

NancyDrew’s ‘MilkNCookies’ Zen Theme was designed for the 83xx series and has an OTA posted via BlueRoomSolutions. As always, Nancy’s theme designs are neat, clean and of very good design.

I know its just another of many buddy finder applications for BlackBerry [...]

The Travel Channel has just released a free app that give you access to their Travel Channel show info on the go. The only problem I see is that when I usually travel my BlackBerry costs an arm and a leg for data. According to Simon this is built upon EarthComber’s application so it also [...]

Rollin just let me know that eVeek has released two hot (& ice cold) themes based on Final Fantasy. If Final Fantasy is your thing these themes look really good. Especially the blue one which would look good with other backgrounds. The icons are custom and have some cool effects on them. The top bar [...]

Vlingo powered Yahoo OneSearch for BlackBerry a bit back and now they are going solo. They are offering a free service that lets you control your BlackBerry through voice. According to them it lets you “send emails and text messages, search the Web, open applications (BlackBerry, Calendar, BlackBerry, Maps, etc.), dial their phones, look up [...]
