Josep just found a new version of Google Maps that is available for BlackBerry devices. The new version can be downloaded either by going to Google’s mobile site or by using Google’s new Updater application that we mentioned before.
I have just installed it on my BlackBerry 8310 and here are my first impressions. This [...]

If you are one of those people (like me) who has to have the latest version of everything…RIM has just released updated versions of the Google Talk and Yahoo Messenger clients. The version is a bump from 2.0.33 to 2.0.38. As usual RIM has provided no release notes or change log so we have no [...]

Gemblock has released another one of his much applauded themes called Black Diamond. This one is BB 8100 only with OS 4.2.1. The theme is quite nice and played down with no flashy colors like his horribly pink previous theme.
Announcement and download links including OTA download are available at this link: http://gemblock.com

Stephano just pointed out a new theme to me on BlackBerryforums by General Mayhem. The theme is based around the old Ghostbusters movie and has a great nostalgic vibe to it that may appeal to some. So far there is no OTA option but the screenshots above and below should give you a pretty good [...]

Garys11 just released a nice winter theme for all of us to enjoy on our Curves. The new theme uses the stock icons but the backgrounds may turn heads and break the ice this holiday season. Sadly there are no OTA links so far and you will have to head on over to BlackBerryForums to [...]

I just read a great Knowledgebase article on RIM’s website that compares the RIM Facebook application with the regular Facebook mobile website. It is pretty details and I found it to be quite a good read. You can catch the full comparison after the jump or at the following link.

That has to be one of the longest theme names I have ever seen. NancyDrew at Themes4BB has released this new theme that is just a big mashup of styles. It incorporates icons from the iPhone and backgrounds from Louis Vuitton with butterflies added for effect. I am not sure what else I can say [...]

UPDATE: The Flash is actually part of DC Comics not Marvel. Thanks Mark I stand corrected
Michael has posted a great comic theme on Themes4BB. The new Marvel3 theme he released is based on a background image of the Flash (If you remember your comics). The theme is a bit hard on the eyes [...]

I know after the responses we received about the 3rd party email alternatives for BlackBerry devices that many people seem to be interested in them. LogicMail is one of the more popular option and Josep just tipped me off to a new version 0.3.2 that was just released. There is no official changelog but knowing [...]
