The BlackBerry is slowly building up applications that let it read multiple document file formats. The latest in the roundup is from RepliGo with an upcoming piece of software called RepliGo Reader. It is scheduled for release in Q3 and should be interesting.

BeamBerry just sent me an email about their new 3.0 release. The latest feature added to BeamBerry is the ability to open documents from your SD Card. I have not tried this myself to see the limitations but this is the first such implementation that I know. (I could be wrong ) Pretty cool stuff!

I guess BeamBerry is feeling the heat from Documents To Go which is coming down the pipeline soon. BeamBerry was free for quite awhile so many people including myself go the chance to try it out.
