Fredrick sent in this great weather website that really impressed me. I have not had a chance to check how accurate the forecasts are but it is just a mobile version of the www.foreca.com website so it should be pretty good. I just cant believe how much information they let you get from the mobile [...]

One of the things that always pissed me off about Evite was that they were not mobile friendly. Their emails are cryptic with one line of text and a link that sends you back to their site. They also have no mobile version of the site. The only even remotely mobile friendly part of the [...]

Once again this one is only for people interested in Hebrew biblical texts on their BlackBerry. I know we mentioned that this was coming before but Hebrew in Hand just released a beta program of their application that is now customized for the BlackBerry. Bplay has just announced support for the BlackBerry Wallet application on their website. The application will fill out the forms with your credit card which is pretty cool. Especially since most of the Bplay [...]

I don’t know why Google is hating on the 8300 & 8800 series but this is cool none the less. They just announced that they are now supporting voice search in their latest version of Google Maps for the 8110, 8120, & 8130. It uses the same technology as the free GOOG-411 service many people [...]

S4BB just sent me an email letting me know that they have opened a public beta for their new application TaskMailer. TaskMailer lets you easily create and email a task from your BlackBerry. Essentially you create the task and email it out in iCal and/or vCal format so that you can import it into Outlook, [...]

For quite awhile I have been looking for a good Joke website or RSS feed to give me a quick laugh every day. I know I could use one. The best I could find so far that didn’t spam me with junk mail was www.jokeornot.mobi that I heard about from www.igloo.mobi.
Essentially it just shows you [...]

I know quite a few people who have asked me if there was a keyboard shortcut to send an SMS message. Just like you can hit ‘C’ to compose an email.
BerryCoder once again comes to the rescue with QSMS. If you install this application you can use the ‘Q’ shortcut to compose an SMS!
The best [...]

I just got an email from BerryCoder that they have released a free memory optimization application for BlackBerry. They claim it frees up to 5MB of memory on your BlackBerry no matter what the type! Not only it releases memory, you will also feel slight increase in response time. MaxMem will remove apps, themes, and [...]
