I just received the following email from SameCell regarding a new update on their application. Most of you who use this one would have got the message but for those of you who didn’t, Here it is…
“Version 1.14 has now been released, so you should see an “Upgrade” menu option within the SameCell application on [...]

I just got an email from ROVE that two of their cool products are now free!!! This is a really hot development. I guess ROVE felt they could build up some hype for their brand with some free products.
First of all ROVE Mobile File Manager is basically a file client for your BlackBerry. Mobile File Manager [...]

I was reading a review by Cory Scheuer on BlackBerryForums about a new contender in the OTA sync field. We have been hearing about OTA sync without BES from www.bberrysync.com but that has yet to be available to the public. This is the first solution that I have heard of that is publicly available. Especially [...]

This one was a long time coming. When Josep first told me about it I thought it was the same free Uber calculator we mentioned way back by the name BKGcalc which is still available.
Turns out gCalc is a completely different beast. It allows you to perform graphing calculator equations on your Curve or Pearl.

So I know many of you have been reading about India’s proposed ban of BlackBerry devices. Personally I find it extremely boring. India should just get over itself and look for a solution instead of making ultimatums. Now they just sound like a bad soon to be ex-girlfriend.

After us mistakenly posting (Thanks Kevin) about the 8120 being released on T-Mobile today I decided to verify this one. In a not so surprising move AT&T has grabbed up the 8120 today for general release. It has been passing around business channels for a bit now so I guess a consumer release was to be expected.
You can [...]

One of our readers, Matt, sent in an email that the Facebook app for BlackBerry has been quietly updated to a new version. As is common with RIM we will get no changelog so I guess I will have to ask all of you to tell us if you notice anything different. The latest version [...]

T-Mobile has launched the much awaited 8820 today. I was just reading about it on phonemag.com. What is interesting is that the 8100 black and white version are out of stock. Maybe they are planning to add the 8120 series soon? Rumors have been abound…
You can pick up the 8820 currently from T-Mobile’s website for [...]

Apple was being quite evil over the past few weeks. I guess they don’t have Google’s “Don’t Be Evil” mantra. They have been trying to push Safari as an “update” to any user who had iTunes installed. I guess Safari is now an update.
The crazy part is that if Microsoft tried doing such a thing [...]

While there is always the free BBweather, BBsync reminded me about another free application called WeatherEye to get your weather fix. The application is free but the downside is that it is ad supported so there will be cute little ads on the bottom of your weather.
Check out the screenshots below and above
The cool feature is [...]
