Well after they released version 0.999 this was inevitable. Both Phreqd and Stefano let me know about the release of GPSed version 1.0 yesterday.

Possibility to turn on/off backlight right from GPSed application. Could be useful for people who want to conduct current speed monitoring, check current coordinates, travel distance, etc [...]

We mentioned the ProxPro beta before when it was first announced. It essentially gives you proximity and traffic alerts free on your BlackBerry. The guys at Cellpassion managed to spot the 8210 & 8220 on eXpansys. Both are now available for preorder at an undetermined price. There is not much new on the product pages other than a few things I did not see before even in our spec sheet.
