You get the picture. I just got an email from one of our readers, Derek, that the service finally went live. ShoZu lets you simply upload pictures from your BlackBerry to a ton of different social networks. It currently has 30+ different locations to upload to. You can even email and FTP the pictures. Supposedly [...]

Robbie just let me know that MiuTunes has released their MP3 player publicly and is officially out of Beta. The application reminds me of Flipside and looks really slick. It has a coverflow interface just like the newer iPods.
Features:
Browse your music collection like the way you flip through CD albums.
Browse and play music by [...]

Originally VirtualViews came up with their AudioPOP application that let you download audio attachments before RIM added that feature natively. Now they have once again stepped in front of RIM by enabling you to download video and mp3 attachments up to 5MB from your BlackBerry email. The cool part is you can download it directly [...]

Okay I have been waiting for something like this for ages. I was just sifting through the press releases from WES and ran into this one head on. Turns out Unify4Life has a box that lets you control your home theater and media from your Berry. I can’t wait! The main downer is that their [...]

I was going to write up a full blown review on this one but since it’s still in Beta and a little hard to get hold of then I will wait until the full version gets released.
Miutunes. Take out the ‘M’ and the ‘U’ and you have ‘iTunes’. Sound familiar? Well it will certainly look [...]

I know many of you are using the FlipSide MP3 player from the BerryReview store so I thought this was worth a mention. One of our readers who likes to go by Mr. Eastwood just let me know that you can pick up a newer version 1.14 if you head over to www.FlipSide.fm from your BlackBerry [...]

Simprit, the makers of GridMagic, currently has a new media player called MiuTunes, undergoing beta testing. Sadly the Beta seems to be currently closed but you can sign up for future Betas at this link.
With MiuTunes you can “flip” through your music just like Flipside but with more of the iPhone “swishy” feel. MiuTunes can [...]

One of our readers just sent in this application that looks cool but for the life of me I cannot read Spanish. (Google translate is not helping much) It seems to be a competitor with SHAPE’s Mobiscope application that allows you to monitor your surveillance cameras from your BlackBerry. Truthfully I cannot imagine this working [...]

I installed an Alpine iDA-X001 media player in my work van about 6 months or so ago and until recently, have not tried it for playing music directly from my BlackBerry Curve.
Although I have it running through about 1200 watts of amplifiers, subwoofers and speakers, I’m not going to do a review of sound quality [...]
