Review: SnapScreen
Rating: 9.5/10
Link: www.virtualviews.com
Cost: $6.99 @ BerryReview Store
We have mentioned SnapScreen in a couple of press releases and felt it was time for a full review. SnapScreen is very simple software that allows you to take a screenshot of your device and save the picture to your SD card or internal memory. However, I [...]

Danny, at ToySoft, has let me know that they have announced a new version of their full screen caller ID application: PictureID. We talked about this application when it was first released. PictureID is a great little program that replaces the standard “incoming call screen” with a full sized image of your choice. Version [...]

Stefano sent me a link to this press release from PocketMac. Turns out they just released a commercial ringtone creator for Mac users. Windows users have quite a few some of which are even free. On the other hand $14.95 is not much to pay when you consider how much 1 ringtone would cost from [...]

I know some people have been squinting at the small picture in the picture ID provided by RIM. ToySoft hopes to solve that issue by providing a full screen picture ID application for BlackBerry. They are still working out a few quirks but the developer is truly dedicated to making this app great. They are [...]

Now this looks like a cool application in the making. Stefano sent me a link to a thread on BBforums about a new application/service that turns RSS feeds into voice that you then stream to your BlackBerry. They seem to be just starting but this could be really interesting for listening to RSS feeds while [...]

I was playing around with my berry on the way home and was trying out some of the video sites that did not work so well on OS 4.2. Turns out YouTube mobile works even better with OS 4.5.0.46.
We have mentioned www.blueapple.mobi, www.tinytube.net, & m.youtube.com before but I wanted to ask…
What other sites are you [...]

The closest description I can come up with for Pinger is a Voice SMS system. For some reason I think I have heard of Pinger before but I can’t remember where…
The Pinger service lets you send voice messages directly to someone instantly over your data connection. It is like email with voice which ironically you [...]

Personally I am more interested in the purported DivX support but BBSync has managed to score some pictures of the Thunder media player. You remember the Thunder CDMA touchscreen right? Well its starting to look like and iPod… Classic
RIM is really stepping things up if these pictures are real. The media player is leaps [...]

I was just reading a post by Hayden about an interesting service by Moodio. The service essentially lets you listen to most web radio feeds from the native RIM media player application. It just recodes them into low bitrate streams.
From what I can tell this is OS 4.5 only but it may work with OS [...]
