I was just reading a post by Hayden about an interesting service by Moodio. The service essentially lets you listen to most web radio feeds from the native RIM media player application. It just recodes them into low bitrate streams.
From what I can tell this is OS 4.5 only but it may work with OS [...]

Anybody notice any changes? updates? features?
I just got word from Nikolaus that the MediaSync software we told you about has already been updated. There is an autoupdate feature built into the application. The latest version is now 1.0.0.11. A minor bump but who knows…
From Nikolaus:
I think the iTunes playlist list is more streamlined and appears [...]

Also included in the features are Internet Radio stations and the Audio player. They [...]

Nanu has been up to some investigative reporting and found the link to RIM’s MediaSync software we told you about previously. The MediaSync application seems to be a stand alone application that even works with the official BlackBerry Desktop Manager 4.5.
It seems like RIM is kindly hosting the file on Akamai’s Edgesuite servers for rapid [...]

I just learned that Opera Mini was updated a few days ago. No wonder it took me days to be informed, they called it a “silent release”. Their reason for not making a fuss over it is that it applies to the Palm and Blackberry only.
Two fixes for the Blackberry are mentioned: ability [...]

I don’t know how we missed this in the news but better late than never. Puretracks is a mobile music store for BlackBerry. It seems to only be available for Canada and there is no trial so I guess you will have to pay to try it out. Otherwise if you really feel like buying [...]

Robbie just let me know that MiuTunes has released their MP3 player publicly and is officially out of Beta. The application reminds me of Flipside and looks really slick. It has a coverflow interface just like the newer iPods.
Features:
Browse your music collection like the way you flip through CD albums.
Browse and play music by [...]

Originally VirtualViews came up with their AudioPOP application that let you download audio attachments before RIM added that feature natively. Now they have once again stepped in front of RIM by enabling you to download video and mp3 attachments up to 5MB from your BlackBerry email. The cool part is you can download it directly [...]

I was going to write up a full blown review on this one but since it’s still in Beta and a little hard to get hold of then I will wait until the full version gets released.
Miutunes. Take out the ‘M’ and the ‘U’ and you have ‘iTunes’. Sound familiar? Well it will certainly look [...]
