Nikolaus pointed out to me a great little resource for finding some mobile websites for large companies. This company, Usablenet, has been mobilizing quite a few websites out there from the Hilton we mentioned previously to JetBlue.
Pretty cool stuff. They managed to convince some major players to create these mobile experiences. They created it so [...]

I just read a post on the official Google Mobile blog about how they added easier ways to get to Google Mobile.
They mention mobile.google.com as the new main portal. So far I have found:
www.google.com/m/
www.google.mobi
m.google.com
The weird part is that each one of these pages looks a little different either from your desktop or BlackBerry.
They also mentioned the [...]

We have mentioned the Zagat To Go application previously and in our review we found ourselves underwhelmed to say the least. It turns out that Zagat also has a mobile version of their site that actually works quite well. Ironically it is actually faster than the BlackBerry application!
It somehow figures out the city you are [...]

While I am not really a calorie counter myself I know quite a few people who are. So when Morgan pointed out this homescreen shortcut I thought it would be worth a mention. Pretty cool website if I have to say so myself. I tried searching for a Philly Cheese Steak just for kicks.
First of [...]

I love discovering all these new .mobi sites. The latest come from Dan who let me know about them last week. The Hilton.mobi and Marriott.mobi websites seem to be run by the same company. Both let you easily book a hotel and check your reservations from your browser.
Dan told me that these were both great [...]

I had never heard of this service before meeting the guys at Pepcom. Buzzd has managed to create a real time crowd sourced Zagat guide. Essentially they collect data about what is happening in certain cities from the likes of Time Out, City Search, Flavorpill, Zagat, and others. They then correlate that data with users [...]

UPDATE: Robbie confirmed that there is a homescreen shortcut that you can download OTA at this link.
I could have sworn I had seen a homescreen shortcut for this but I could not find it. Turns out that Fox News has also jumped on the .Mobi bandwagon with a mobile friendly version of their site. If [...]

I know we mentioned Zinadoo.com before for creating your own mobile website but they just added a cool new feature. It lets you upload/add mobile video from YouTube to stream to your BlackBerry. I tried it out and it worked on my OS 4.5 8310!
Pretty cool stuff if you want to post some videos you took [...]

Holly of mobienthusiast.mobi let me know about a great website, www.ikidz.mobi. It has some great content that really caught my attention. For example, I learned that porcupines float in water…
They also have clean jokes, brain teasers, and games. check it out by heading to www.iKidz.mobi. Let me know what you think!
Don’t expect high level intellectually [...]

I was browsing the BerryReview Mobile Edition and noticed that RIM is advertising on our website. Namely they are advertising a new page that lists 13 of their homescreen shortcuts that RIM has created. I already noticed a few missing including the Goal.com shortcut we mentioned previously (and the BerryReview shortcut ).
Check it out to see if [...]
