Sadly my much loved BlackBerry 8310 rests at deaths door. The most knowledgeable technical support rep at AT&T told me to stop grieving and head on over to an AT&T corporate store and get a replacement. During the short 3 weeks that I had my 8310 it was my constant companion and source of joy. It hurts to so [...]

Garys11 just released a nice winter theme for all of us to enjoy on our Curves. The new theme uses the stock icons but the backgrounds may turn heads and break the ice this holiday season. Sadly there are no OTA links so far and you will have to head on over to BlackBerryForums to [...]

Boy Genius just got the scoop that AT&T will be offering a 50% discount on the BlackBerry 8310 Curve with a new 2 year activation for $99 after rebate. Personally I am peeved since I just picked up my 8310 for $199.
According to Boy Genius the deal will last from this Friday and ends on [...]

It seems that after all the hubbub about GPS being locked down on the Verizon 8830 there is finally a way to use Verizon’s Navigator service on your 8830. A new patch that Simon at BBCool caught opens up the door for Verizon 8830’s to work with the Verizon Navigator GPS application. If you remember [...]

Josep pointed out a great how-to article on Pinstack.com by Brooke03 on how to spraypaint your BlackBerry Curve a different color. She changed hers to hot pink as you can see on the left. I would not recommend this for the faint of heart or for those that have a close personal relationship with their [...]

That has to be one of the longest theme names I have ever seen. NancyDrew at Themes4BB has released this new theme that is just a big mashup of styles. It incorporates icons from the iPhone and backgrounds from Louis Vuitton with butterflies added for effect. I am not sure what else I can say [...]

UPDATE: The Flash is actually part of DC Comics not Marvel. Thanks Mark I stand corrected
Michael has posted a great comic theme on Themes4BB. The new Marvel3 theme he released is based on a background image of the Flash (If you remember your comics). The theme is a bit hard on the eyes [...]

VS
I know what you are thinking…Not another iPhone / BlackBerry comparison !
There are a few things I could throw into such a comparison though.
I am a huge BlackBerry fan.
I am just as keen on Apple products.
The iPhone hasn’t even been [...]

PhoneScoop has just discovered some FCC goodness in a filing by RIM. This is that same 8120 WiFi-Berry you have heard about earlier. It seems that the upcoming 8120 will have UMA but as we mentioned earlier no GPS. The thing that always irks me about these new WiFi devices is why they sometimes come [...]

I have been asked countless times how to unlock all those slick themes on your BlackBerry. The nice part is that these well designed RIM themes are very good (I personally use the Vodaphone theme on AT&T) and are totally free once you unlock them. Until now there were instructions all over the place but [...]
