Shim sent in the knowledgebase article detailing how the 8220 will be able to view video in landscape mode. That means you will be able to turn your Flip to the side and watch widescreen video. Smart move on RIM’s part.
The almost part is that according to RIM you have to transfer the video using [...]

Josep let me know that Fortte has officially released their line of cases for the BlackBerry Bold. Fortte makes some slick BlackBerry cases out of quality leather so I am glad they are staying on top of newer devices. I just hate the bulky blocky case that came with the Bold. Now if only Seidio [...]

Another tip from our secret agents brings us OS 4.6.0.162 for the BlackBerry Bold AKA 9000 device. The 4.6.0.154 release was pretty solid with its smaller memory leak issue but hopefully that will be improved in this version.
Bold OS 4.6.0.162 was found at:

This one has me totally confused. Eric sent in this knowledgebase article detailing the support of BlackBerry Media Sync 1.0.0.18 with a 8220 on Macintosh computers…
Confused yet? The official Media Sync page still says it only supports Windows but this article begs to differ.
Details below in case RIM pulls it:
Environment

Sorry just catching up where I left off. While I was out for the holiday Vodafone Germany launched a Storm Updates page. No big surprise there after Verizon put up theirs. On a side note Vodafone UK is giving away 20 BlackBerry Storms to UK residents so its worth signing up. Robb also spotted [...]

So it is October 2nd and still no Bold to be found. BoyGenius is reporting that the Bold training for AT&T employees has been delayed do to launch delays. Its kind of odd considering launch parties are already scheduled for October.
I admit that the October and other rumored launch dates were only rumors. On [...]

BoyGenius scored another picture of the internal Best Buy system showing the T-Mobile Flip arriving in stock on October 26th. I guess that means we will be seeing a KickStart Pearl 8220 Flip soon…

Since I started using the Bold I had trouble taking screenshots with my older version of the free BBScreenShooter application. (Version 1.61 I think) Turns out that the good guys at Oppitronic have released an update since I last downloaded the application to bring the latest version to 1.62b. This version supports the 7xxx, [...]

We all knew it wouldn’t be long before theme designers started creating themes for the Blackberry BOLD so I guess we’ll be seeing more and more of them as time goes on. John over at GadgetBean.Com has gotten in on the fun by taking his popular Real iBerry Blocks Theme and creating a version for [...]
