After CrackBerry, BoyGenius, & BBNews gave us some tastes of the Bold some production reviews have started to show up around the web.
Here are two good ones that I found:
Great review by Australian APC mag that even covers the DivX & XviD support found on the Bold. They also do some great comparison shots with [...]

Sorry I could not help myself. DavidB just sent me a link to Engadget where they just broke this story. Turns out that Movistar out in Chile is the first carrier worldwide to release the Bold. Price is a bit high at ~$588 but what would you pay to get your hands on a [...]

Just got this tip from Monyet. It’s interesting to see that the BlackBerry Bold OS 4.6.0.92 was just officially released by Optus. Does that mean that Optus is releasing the Bold forthwith?

Anonymous on BBNews just did a great detailed review of the upcoming BlackBerry Bold. Its interesting to see that his review unit is a T-Mobile Germany BlackBerry Bold. This is a seed unit and is not full production so there is no unboxing screencandy yet…

Some of you who have already handled the Bold may have noticed this small added feature on the Bold. It lets you lower the number of icons that you see on the icon homescreen. The grid options are 4×4 icons, 3×3, 2×2, & 1×1. You can see what I mean below. It also adds some [...]

You don’t know how happy I was when I managed to confirm this latest bit of news! Kevin @ CrackBerry mentioned DivX support once in his first review but nothing past that. I have been wanting DivX support for ages. It means I wont have to re-encode all of my video files to watch them [...]

The BoyGenius was having some fun on Friday doing a quick drive-by of the BlackBerry Bold’s new HTML browser. I won’t dwell to much on it but this has been a feature I have begged RIM to implement for ages. Its almost here… A real HTML browser for the BlackBerry! While not perfect it looks [...]

UPDATE: From what I am hearing the current implementation of Nuance on the Bold is just a replacement for the previous Voice Signal voice dialing application. There are rumblings that it might be extended to device control.
Once again we have some new information from Secret Agent 001 about the upcoming BlackBerry Bold. Nuance essentially means [...]

Nanko Rusev of PhoneArena has been keeping his ear to the ground. He found the AT&T Bold approval from the FCC on their site. This is the AT&T version with UMTS 850/1900 which will be different than the T-Mobile version since they run 3G on a different band.
I guess this means that we will be [...]

I was just reading a great article on CrackBerry giving a look at some of RIM’s upcoming BlackBerry accessories. Some of the stuff is new like a personalized stereo headset. I also am starting to really warm up to these battery covers. The batteries look nice and slick but who ever really shows one off. [...]

BoyGenius is reporting that due to heat and battery life issues, the Bold has been pushed off on AT&T. He said that he spoke to two AT&T execs who confirmed the fact that the Bold is still not carrier certified by AT&T.
I just got a bit depressed…
I guess this will remain a tease for now:

Got an email yesterday from Derik with a link to a new promotional video from RIM. The video shows off the email, documents, and phone features of the Bold. Sadly they were not “Bold” enough to show off the web browser & media player…
Check it out at this link…
I guess I sat on this one [...]

So far we have been staying out of the speculation field on different Bold release dates that have been floating around. On the other hand I just got some hard evidence from one of our readers Oren that the Bold will be released on Vodaphone on July 30th. I know this is later than the [...]
