Now this makes me jealous of our friends across the pond. Tashanna let me know that according to the Times Online Vodafone UK will be offering the Storm free with a £35 tariff and an 18 month contract. Beat that Verizon!
Now if only the Vodafone Storm would have supported AT&T or T-Mobile 3G we would [...]

The National Post managed to get an interview with Jim Balsillie and ask him a few questions about the Storm and how it measures up to the iPhone. They did not make it into the original mention but they did catch them in a follow up.
Jim stresses that a reliable network, battery life, & good [...]

I love learning about what technologies power each part of my gadgets and the upcoming Storm is no exception. I just got confirmation that the upcoming BlackBerry Storm is packing a Synaptics’ touchscreen. It turns out that the Storm is using Synaptics’ ClearPad custom module. This part is what enables multi touch input as [...]

Tashanna let me know that Vodafone UK has a great little 360 degree flash demo of the BlackBerry Storm. I guess I missed it yesterday. Once again nothing ground breaking but just some more mouth watering Storm goodness since I know some people are biting at the bit.

I love simulators since they let you play with a new OS before it is released. The problem with the Storm simulator is that there is no way to simulate how it will feel to have to click in the touchscreen. I guess we will have to see about that.
I did notice that along [...]

While everybody was sleeping RIM officially announced the BlackBerry Storm on Verizon and Vodafone. It was a really big secret so this is a big surprise.
Only main point of interest I found was that Vodafones is obviously a GSM device denoted by the 9500 moniker and the Verizon device is [...]

After the commercial on CBS this is starting to get old. We are getting advertisements for devices that are not even confirmed by RIM to exist yet… Looks like Time and Gizmodo are betting that an announcement will be made tomorrow. I personally thought they were going to wait until the developers conference.
Vodafone BlackBerry Storm [...]

Sorry just catching up where I left off. While I was out for the holiday Vodafone Germany launched a Storm Updates page. No big surprise there after Verizon put up theirs. On a side note Vodafone UK is giving away 20 BlackBerry Storms to UK residents so its worth signing up. Robb also spotted [...]

Seriously there have been more screenshots of the Storm leaked than any other device I can remember. Over the weekend Kevin Byrne posted some screenshots of the Storm OS. Then LordObento posted some follow up Verizon marketing images. Add the Vodaphone pre-registration find and the speculation about an early November launch and your mouth [...]

Last week we talked ranted about Verizon’s weekly internal Storm press release, Talking Up A Storm, and it looks like they are holding true to their hump day plan. More information was released today, mostly about the multimedia capability of the Storm. They talked about the 3.2 mega pixel camera, the ability to shoot [...]

Yes, there is new information regarding the BlackBerry Storm making land fall on America’s largest 3G network, but I will get to that in a minute.
I would first like to rant about this particular cell phone carrier for just a minute. I am sick of companies (no Verizon is not the first nor last [...]

Ok there are way too many ways that we could make jokes or bad puns with the name Storm. Anyway, Verizon Wireless posted a page early yesterday for the BlackBerry Storm. After only being up a short while, Verizon plucked the page away. Some suspect that RIM asked (read forced) them to pull the page. [...]
