Over the weekend MobiTV has released their mobile tv application for the BlackBerry 8130. The software is not device specific but requires the streaming codecs only found in OS 4.3. The clarity was great and the speed was surprising over EVDO. The program guide is a nice addition.

While looking over RIM’s new accessory line at their booth I cam upon something I had not seen before. RIM has a new branded stereo connector for BlackBerry that allows you to stream audio off your BlackBerry to your stereo using the Stereo Bluetooth Profile (A2DP).

I take back what I said yesterday. RIM’s booth at CES is actually very slick. They have some cool tech on display there with most of the news being in the applications field. Check out the pics of the booth below:

While I was strolling around the BlackBerry booth tonight at Digital Experience I found that RIM actually does have an announcement for CES. They will be introducing a new pink and red BlackBerry 8130 CDMA Pearl device. This confirms what BoyGenius reported yesterday based on Verizon’s website.
