Ronen Halevy - Founder & Editor

Ronen is an avid BlackBerry addict who must always have the latest and greatest toys. His goal in creating BerryReview.com was to force others to listen to opinions create a site which caters both to the casual & hardcore BlackBerry user base. He also got bored by reading other websites that only published press releases and stock information. BerryReview.com on the other hand focuses on information that actually helps BlackBerry users.

Ronen has the compulsive need to install every BlackBerry application and try out every BlackBerry accessory. Some may call it a fault but many have been helped by his addiction. Ronen has owned and used practically every BlackBerry device that has been released in the last few years. His last regular phone was the much hated Nokia N-gage which he used to “brick” every month by installing too many 3rd party applications. After he purchased his first 7230 he has been a hopeless BlackBerry addict to the chagrin of his wife and family. This is not to say that he has not tried other devices but so far they have all paled in comparison.

Greg Myers - Associate Editor

Well if you haven’t guessed by now, Greg is writing from Perth, Western Australia. He has lived there all his life but has done a bit of travel overseas (Mostly US). Greg has always been addicted to gadgets and gizmos as far back as he can remember. Greg is an an Electrician by trade and his current job is research, development and service manager for a local automation company.

Greg has owned every model of mobile phone ever released in Australia (and a few that haven’t been). He got recommended to the BlackBerry by a friend of his that owns a mobile phone shop after he got fed up with a new Nokia N95 he had just purchased. Prior to owning a BlackBerry Greg would change handsets fortnightly because of dissatisfaction with any product.

Greg sort of stumbled into writing for BerryReview when Ronen had eye surgery in October 2007. He had never written before (but had always wanted to) and was driving everybody on Crackberry.com.au mad with the amount of postings he was getting out. Along with his full time job (around 80 hours per week), BerryReview, and family commitments there are not enough hours in the day.
