Your Passport is Flickering? Blackberry on the way to resolve it

If you’ve noticed that your Blackberry Passport is flickering after the 10.3.1 update you’re not alone. After a couple of days with the new OS, I noticed that my device flickers when at my settings menu or when opening some of apps, thinking my screen needed to be fixed. I did some more searching for some answers about what is going on. I came across Michael Clewley who has just tweeted an update, so don’t worry, Blackberry is addressing this with a fix soon and until then try the following:

Try to restart your Passport at least one time per day, it minimizes the flickering.

Did that workaround work for you? Let us know how you are dealing with.

  1. My BlackBerry Passport has always done a small amount of stuttering, but within the past two days the flickering has gotten extreme. Also, sometimes I can’t take pictures because the buttons are obscured by a black or yellow band at the bottom of the screen. This is getting frustrating. Turning the device completely off and leaving it for a while doesn’t seem to really help; neither does resetting.
