Enterprise BBM Meetings Coming to Smartphones AND Desktops Soon!

A few sources have confirmed that BlackBerry is actively testing a new value added feature of BBM for desktops that promises to be a real game changer. According to the information we have been hearing the product will be a value added feature for enterprises as an “Enterprise Value Added Service” like BBM encrypted chats. This new feature will allow you to essentially mimic WebEx with BBM on all three major smartphone platforms along with Windows & Mac desktops. This feature includes voice and video conferencing, screen sharing, annotation, and other BBM features across platforms.

So far it has been confirmed to work with BB10 OS 10.2 and later along with iOS 6.0+ and Android 4.0+. They are also supporting Mac OSX 10.6.8+ and on Windows it is all the way down to Windows XP SP3.

We will definitely give you more details as we learn about them. Let us know what you think of BBM Meetings!
