BlackBerry has really been hammered by competitors recently playing a scare tactics game against the BlackBerry solution. Competitors in the enterprise space have been spreading some pretty blatant lies about BlackBerry trying to paint them into a corner and harass current customers. This has been going on for awhile and BlackBerry has only recently decided to fight fire with… water.
Instead of making up their own claims BlackBerry’s Mark Wilson, VP of Marketing, has announced a new BlackBerry fact check portal. It does not seem to be available just yet but the idea is to take on the claims that competitors are using to incite FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, & Doubt) in BlackBerrys current and potential customers. This is their decision to fight back with the facts to hold their competitors accountable for what they say when what they say is wrong.
