BlackBerry Hitting Android Conferences to Get Apps Ported Over

Developer Events

We told you about the awesome performance improvements coming in BlackBerry 10.3 for Android apps recently. Now it looks like BlackBerry is traveling around the world to make sure all Android developers are aware of how well many Android apps run on BlackBerry 10. They are hitting the road and sponsoring loads of hack-a-thons and other events in the Americas, EMEA, and AsiaPac. Here are the events they have scheduled so far:

  1. Should spend more effort on native Cascades apps instead! Right Ronen? Nothing beats native Cascades. 😀

  2. They really need both. Cascades for the quality stuff and android for the app “tonnage”

  3. That’s great but, RIM have forgot about the legacy devices. There is still a great portion of people using OS7.1. Like 9900,Curve 9310 and, Curve 9320.
