BlackBerry EZ Pass License Upgrade & Trade In Program Starts April 1st

EZ PASS

It looks like BlackBerry is getting quite a bit of interest in their newly announced EZ Pass program that they announced at Mobile World Congress. Essentially they are letting BlackBerry customers migrate to BES 10 and then BES 12 very easily and trade in their licenses. On top of that they are allowing free migrations from companies that are using competing MDM solutions. In other words this is a shot across the brow of AirWatch, Good, and other competitors with free licenses. Pricing is also much simpler.

This new program is set to start on April 1st. The website for it has already had over 100,000 visitors and 1900 registrations for more information. Not bad… Check out more details here.

  1. Its too bad BlackBerry did not offer this 1 year ago. BES10 was a mistake, due to the simple reason it does not support BBOS. Had they released say BES12 from the start, BES installations IMO would be triple from what they are today i.e.: 33,000+.
John Chen is rectifying this issue. Good Stuff.
