At Mobile World Congress BlackBerry announced some nice corporate customer wins in Europe with three Italian companies making the list. ZDNet reached out to two of them to get an idea of why they doubled down on their BlackBerry investment and why BlackBerry’s message appealed to them. The two companies are Air Dolomiti, a mid sized airline (550 employees), and Tokheim, a large gas pump company.
They explained that it is a combination of reliability, ease of use, and BES for security. They all tested alternatives and appreciated that BES 10 can also manage other platforms and have separate work and personal spaces. For Air Dolomiti this meant rolling out about 430 BlackBerry Q5 and Z10 devices.
