BlackBerry has been pitching their Las Colinas office campus to buyers for months according to Dallas News (via BBNews.pl) and they finally got a bite. Canadian investor Brookfield Property Group purchased the Riverside Commons 6 building 460,000 square foot office. BlackBerry bought the buildings in 2009 and has since laid off many of their employees there especially the ones supporting the legacy BlackBerry OS.
No word on how much the sale went for but that puts some more cash in BlackBerry’s war chest. For now I am hearing BlackBerry is trying to setup more offices closer to enterprise and government hubs.

More layoffs, I guess that’s what they were talking about a long time ago.
