128GB SanDisk MicroSDXC Card Now $120 @Amazon – Shipping in 2-3 Weeks

MicroSDXC 128gb

I really want to know if SanDisk’s new 128GB MicroSDXC cards will work on BlackBerry 10. Technically it should work like a charm especially on OS 10.2.1+ but who knows. Amazon has listed the card for $119.99 with free shipping and is supposed to ship in 2-3 weeks. This is much less than the $200 MSRP the device was supposed to have. Hopefully the pricing is right. Transfer speeds are up to 30MB/s and it is water, temperature, x-ray, magnet, and shock proof.

  1. Curious about this as well, as my 32GB is filled to the max (200mb free) with music alone, atop pictures that I’m relegating to the Device Memory and then storing backups in the Cloud.

Was going to look into a 64GB, but you’re right that 10.2.1 supports exFAT so it should work for 64 up to 2TB correct? Will be interested to hear about your experiment.

  2. And I thought that I was doing good when I just upgraded to a 32GB one…

  3. I’ve actually been waiting for one of these to be available. I’m currently running their 64GB card with no issues. I don’t really “need” a 128GB card, but if I had that much capacity, I would start recording some videos.

    • The speed of the card is horrible, the greater the capacity the higher the required speed because loading thousands of files on it will take forever at 30 MB/s, 50 or more would make sense and the read speed should be at least 50 in my opinion.

  4. They are not available at all in Canada at the moment. I’ll have to wait for someone brave enough south of the border to try this.

Also- Best Buy is showing them at $199 whereas Amazon.com is showing them at $119 which is nice to see.
