BBM 10.3 for BlackBerry 10 Now Available With Location Sharing & More!

We told you that BBM for BlackBerry 10 was getting an update today to v10.3. That update is now available with location sharing, DropBox integration, and more! Here are the main changes:

  • Faster, easier sharing – quickly add photos, voice notes, files and attachments to your BBM chats from your smartphone or Dropbox account
  • Location sharing – Share your location temporarily, powered by Glympse. Your location is updated live on a map, right in BBM. When the timer runs out your location is private again.
  • 100 new emoticons – Get your point across with great new emojis
  • Find Friends – Quickly find and add new BBM contacts from your smartphone contact list
  • Larger BBM Groups – You can now chat and share with 50 people in your BBM Group

Check out the update here. It may take a few hours for you to see the update.

  1. Just push the actual update to your phone… Goto appworld from a desktop –> sign in –> then click download and unlock your phone.

    Done and Done.

  2. There’s a bug currently that Comes wit BBM 10.3, because some Emoticons like the Rabbit are shown as Angry + X Symbol in the Hub while the Show up as Rabbit if you actually open the conversation in BBM.

Makes it funny to trick some People 🙂

  3. I “upgraded” and now BBM won’t start. Flashes for a second and disappears. Can’t get in to any existing conversations. And you can’t remove it to reinstall it so I’m stuck. Anyone else having this issue?

  4. You need to update your os

    • isn’t high enough? Well, I’m on AT&T so it’ll probably be months before they make the official OS available. Looks like another leak for me?

      • I think 1975 is required. Leak works

        • Wonderful. I don’t suppose there’s any way to a) undo the upgrade or b) actually load the leaked OS without losing everything – particularly status/progress on Android apps. Sometimes a full restore works but then restore has a lot of other negative side effects – like the fact that I can’t get into my Accounts for the last couple of months.
