BlackBerry Jumps to 20th Place in Number of US Patent Approval Rankings in 2013

BlackBerry is still proving to be a patent powerhouse according to the latest rankings from ZDnet on the number of US patents awarded in the US. BlackBerry has jumped up 9 places to be ranked 20th for approvals of US patent awards. BlackBerry clocked in 1334 patents awarded to them putting them as the top Canadian company and in line with the competition. Check out the full rankings at ZDNet or in the chart above.

  1. So why is the stock price so low? There is HUGE value in this company, but Wall Street is blind to the fundamentals of the business.

    • BlackBerry is up in Canada, and starting to creep up in the USA.

  2. BlackBerry are innovators. This only proves the obvious, despite all the nonsense doom/gloom rumours.

  3. I think BlackBerry needs to add some sizzle to the steak. 1. Naming the OS – Black X, Black Porshe X2 etc; 2. More celebrity endorsers; 3. Play up the QNX factor -cars, cars, cars; 4. Cutting Edge designs -curved glass,different keyboards – digital and physical; 5. Exciting and attention grabbing commercials, that show off the capabilities of BB10.
