BlackBerry Foxconn Phones Will Be Priced Under $200

BlackBerry’s new official CEO John Chen keeps on dropping more news to each outlet he speaks to. The latest is him telling CNET at CES that the Foxconn built touchscreen BlackBerry will be priced at under $200. He also said that there is a higher end keyboard phone that is being designed in house. He essentially explained the breakdown as:

"For emerging markets, BlackBerry will let Foxconn take a bigger role," he said. "But we will do the next set of cool phones."

He went on to end the interview by saying he “Loves a good fight” when describing how Samsung could be a potential challenger "IF they can deliver”

  1. Way to go, Chen! Go get ’em! Love his attitude, and as he gets more comfortable with the company and it’s range of products & services, he will get more passionate and aggressive. Welcome aboard, ‘no-longer-interim’ CEO!
