Have BlackBerry 10 Sensor Issues? Reboot You Phone Now

IMG_20130532 IMG_20130529

Those of you who ran into the sudden sensor issues on BlackBerry OS 10.2 this week are in luck. Michael Clewley has confirmed on Twitter that the issue has been resolved on their end somehow. He does not explain why BlackBerry would need to fix anything on their end for your sensors to work but I really hope that does not mean they have some backdoor update process.

Either way Michael is saying on Twitter that you just need to reboot and your sensors should be back to normal. Glad they jumped on this one!

  1. I guess that proves my theory was correct but, what was that????

  2. Seriously. How the snot do they solve everyone’s problems remotely? Not cool that this is not being explained. I’m glad they fixed it though.

    • I have a couple of theories…
1- BlackBerry devices are very well connected to BlackBerry servers and they are not as loose as we thought they were since BIS and OS 7.1-…
2- The release of BlackBerry Link today was not a coincidence..
3- The free gifts every day is a way to keep us loyalists quiet till they do what they have to do on their servers..remember over a year ago when BlackBerry Messenger had issues? Remember the free app downloads?
4- Maybe 10.2.1 is getting more serious than just a buggy OS and they are trying to push it out for January 2014???

Any ways, all of the above makes me a happy camper.

I’ve had little if any problems with 10.2.1 … Definately wouldn’t say it’s overly buggy… but I may just be lucky

        Si.
