Email Text Resizes to Fill The Screen in BlackBerry OS 10.2.1 – No More Scrolling Side to Side!

 IMG_00000427 IMG_00000428

I am not sure what took me so long to realize this came in 10.2.1 but I have been wanting this feature for ages. BlackBerry now resizes the text in emails you receive to fit the screen if you zoom in on the area. Its not 100% but it does work. You simply just zoom in on any text and it will resize the text and justify it to fit the width of the screen. I still does not seem to do it by default when you open up an email that is bigger than the width of the screen but it does work!

Check out some of the examples I took and share some of your own with the new image uploader in the comment section! Thanks Blindguy for pointing it out in the forums!

  1. They also have to fix replied emails as the attached replies get repeated constrained width-wise such that it becomes impossible to read with 4+ emails in the chain.

  2. Great, now tell me the browser does the same thing!

  3. Now if they would do make any html email automatically zoom to the extents when you first open it.

  4. We must disable TNEF (Transport Neutral Encapsulation Format) in Microsoft Outlook to ensure that texts (contained in those e-mails which are created with Microsoft Outlook) are properly wrapped around when e-mails are resized on BlackBerry 10 devices.
