Updated: BlackBerry 10.2.1 Leak Points To Flickr, SkyDrive, & SmugMug Connectors Coming Soon

File Manager

While digging through the latest OS 10.2.1.1055 leak we keep on finding some goodies. Ofutur pointed out to me that there are signs of BlackBerry working on new cloud connectors for SmugMug, SkyDrive, and Flickr. These will be like the current Box.net and DropBox connectors from what I understand. No word on when we will actually see these connectors drop since they are separate apps but hopefully soon! I have personally been waiting for SugarSync to be added…

Update: Ofutur posted up all of the listed connection points f0r cloud plugins BlackBerry seems to be developing:

  1. SugarSync… I got (more) bad news on that front.

They are dropping support for free accounts. Either move to a paid plan or lose all the space you’ve earned (along with you account).

The total lack of interest for BlackBerry was bad, but now they lost me as a client.

  2. The Flickr connector is kinda interesting! Its images only, so the connector will have to be aware of that no?? Also the idea of photosets, galleries etc, I wonder how that will be represented? I know the Flickr API is available, but i think its very cheeky of BlackBerry even making a connector considering Yahoo is a bit anti BlackBerry right now.
