Updated: On the Exchange Floor With CNBC Closing Bell Hosted by Maria Bartiromo and Bill Griffeth

Update: Thanks to Todd we have a decent copy of the whole segment below

CNBC

There is no need to point out how significant of a day it was in BlackBerry history today. Yet another CEO has stepped down and we have an interm CEO placed by the new Lead Director of BlackBerry. Prem Watsa clearly has a plan for BlackBerry that pivots from what Thorsten Heins was trying to execute. Watsa was on the boad and is clearly privy to BlackBerry’s current struggles and still decided to invest another $1 billion with some turn around strategy in mind. We are all waiting to hear what they have in store for BlackBerry and they really need to come out with a clear message this time. Current and potential BlackBerry users need to know exactly why they should choose BlackBerry 10 and what BlackBerry has in store for them to end this uncertainty.

I was on air today with Maria Bartiromo and Bill Griffeth on CNBC Closing Bell to discuss just that today. Sadly they only posted a short clip of the 5-6 minute segment but you can get the basic idea. Check it out below and let me know if you find the full clip anywhere:

Thanks Todd for the full video segment below:

  1. Too bad they cut you out…but hey, nice to see you on the big screen.

  2. BB will be successful again when they start paying Engadget, BGR, Gizmodo and other popular tech blogs. Sad but true.

    • Personally, I don’t think there is any hope for that joke of a tech blog called BGR. That clown Geller absolutely loves anything Apple and finds every opportunity to trash BBRY.

  3. Great job Ronen. That hosebag was an obvious iBot fangirl that had it out for BBRY. I love her comment at the end about checking out Android devices with a keyboard (because apparently they are muuuch better than his Q10……….SMDH).

  4. Good job, Ronen, standing up for the BlackBerry!
“I’m partial to the iPhone,” she says. Gee, never saw that coming :-D. I’m going to take a wild guess and say she picks up a latte at Starbucks every morning.

  5. Great job Ronen.
