BBM on Android Has A Great Widget

BBM Widget Android

Those of you trying out BBM on Android may have noticed that BlackBerry snuck a new feature into the new release. The app now has a widget on Android that allows you to access all of your BBM chats from your homescreen in a resizable 4×4 square widget. It works quite well and is very responsive. I’m impressed. Just hold down anywhere on an Android homescreen and select “add widget” and choose the BBM widget.

Thanks Ronen for pointing it out!

  1. This is neat.
While on the subject of “features,” I can’t get BBM to go landscape. Anyone else have the same gripe? My wife has the old Samsung Epic with the slide-out keyboard. She says she won’t BBM until that works! 🙂

  2. hi i rooted my mobile to cm9 ICS and i cant download the bbm on my device what should i doo to download it

  3. Now that I have it, how do I turn it off/exit when I don’t want it running?????
It seems to insist on starting automatically and there appears to be no option to turn it off.
