FREE ContactsImEx Lets You Export & Import BlackBerry 10 Contacts (CSV & vCard)

Contacts export Contacts export2

Bless Florian Behrens for ContactsImEx (and Back2blaque for pointing it out to me). ContactsImEx allows you to easily export and import your BlackBerry 10 contacts as a large CSV spreadsheet or vCards. The vCard format even allows you to include contact photos since it uses v3 of the *.vcf standard. You can then use that information to edit contacts on your PC and them bring them back in and merge them. Personally I prefer to do this in Gmail but many users have asked for a way to pull this off that did not involve BlackBerry Link and Outlook.

Check out ContactsImEx free in BlackBerry World and make sure to thank Florian!

  1. Great news! Paid apps don’t work so well, so hopefully this one does.

It will work nicely with some of the improvements that will make their way into the contacts app in 10.2.1. I heard vcard import may event be supported natively 🙂

  2. Looks nice. Will have to check it out. You can never have too many ways to backup your contacts.

  3. If you are looking for a similar app for Legacy BlackBerry OS ( 4.5 through 7.2 ) try this
