BBM just hit its one year birthday after it was included in the Collins English Dictionary. This was a big milestone for BlackBerry and its one year celebration is marked with another incoming milestone. The Collins English Dictionary will have to redefine BBM because it’s current description as an “Abbreviation for BlackBerry Messenger: an instant messaging application for BlackBerry devices” will no longer apply once it goes cross platform.
Its formal definitions will stay true:
