Samsung Continues to Promote Cross Platform BBM Internationally

 Twitter _ SamsungMobileSA

Its very odd to see Samsung making such a big deal of BBM coming to Android. On the other hand we have BlackBerry staying radio silent on it and essentially just showing it to users at the TIFF festival. Readers who went to the TIFF festival told us they were impressed with what BlackBerry has made and it really will push WhatsApp into a corner. BlackBerry even managed to squeeze many elements of the Cascades FLOW into the Android app though not the iPhone app.

Either way this latest advert just goes to show even Samsung is excited about cross platform BBM out in South Africa. They made their whole Twitter account focused on it. They just keep on promoting it…

  1. I was at TIFF and the iOS version has cascades and flow.

    • iOS didn’t have all the cascadesy features such as the pull swiping. To go anywhere you had to press icon buttons.

Android has pull swiping just like bb10.

  2. I believe Samsung is one of 3 Strategic Partners BBRY went with. Samsung helping the BBM Cross-Platform Launch while the other 2 partners is for BB10 licensing and hardware.

  3. Its not on just print adverts in South Africa, Samsung is also doing radio placements,

goes like “Would you expect *BB Eager notification* on *Samsung’s ‘whistle’*”

And then they go on to say that BBM is coming to all galaxy phones soon, so you can communicate with all everyone or something to that effect
