BlackBerry Q10 Hits Sprint August 30th (Direct Ship)

Sadly Sprint has really been dragging their heels with launching the blackberry Q10. Now BerryReporter had scored a promotional printout showing a direct ship date for the device of August 30th. It also seems like Sprint will not be carrying any inventory in stores but you can order it from a store for shipping. The price is $199.99 with a two year contract or $529.99 without.

So any takers? Real dick move on Sprints part.

  1. Seriously, I’ve been waiting since spring for Sprint to get off their asses and release ANY BB10 device. Sadly, and as expected, Sprint is the latest to the party and from what I’ve heard they are paying the price. Their customers are fed up and are leaving in waves, who can blame them? Sprint is marooned in 3rd place in terms of overall sales of mobile phones and service; rightly so. I’ve also heard that the problem is because the FCC only recently approved of the Sprint Q10. However, Sprint has only themselves to blame. This isn’t the first time that a situation like this has happened and this surely isn’t the last.

  2. A lot of BlackBerry users already left Sprint. No big loss.

  4. Wow, the 1st people that should know anything 1st hand is these reps.

I hope it was worth the iBot kickbacks for stalling BB10’s availability.

  5. I asked Sprint about Q10 release date during a call August 21 about a billing issue (and the persistent holes coverage in the middle of Dallas). Supervisor said that Q10 release date not set, Q10 not available anywhere in U.S., that I should look at one of Sprint’s other devices, and wanted to argue with me the customer that on one really needed a keyboard anyway.

  6. Well I’ve been waiting for a couple years and I think I’ll hang on to the end of the year with my trusty 9650 and see if the Z30 is carried by Sprint.
