BlackBerry OS 10.2.0.1157 Developer SDK Builds Hit BlackBerry Developer Site for All Devices

carousel-beta_10

Don’t get to excited since this is still a developer beta OS but I am sure someone will turn it into a hybrid shortly. Until then Terrence sent me over the links for the new OS 10.2.0.1157 that BlackBerry is rolling out to developers on their Developer Microsite. For some reason the links are not published on the website here yet but I am sure they will be soon. Check them out below just remember this is a crippled developer OS meant for developers:

  1. Is there any official change log yet?

  2. Mr. Huseyin as i read, the very next feature added to BlackBerry 10.2 is Priority Hub, which will make you highlight your worthy and notable stuff by coloring them, so you can catch them just in a quick glance

    • That sounds nice to have, but for me I keep most of my important stuff in desktop and all other personal stuff in other email accounts combined, anyway, I am sure it would be handy for users who needed such a “g-mail like” function.

I am still hoping for true keyboard shortcuts and reply indicators on desktop. I missed 10.1 updates but I don’t think contacts categories (groups from exchange) are there either, worst offense was BB overwriting and removing the fields it did not support when it synced back the edited contact data. I complained about this when I tried Android 3 years ago… just saying–
