It took them way to long but its FINALLY here. Verizon has pushed out OS 10.1.0.2039 for their users with BlackBerry Z10’s. This is the much awaited OS update that brings better compatibility with apps and fixes the reboot issues. I HIGHLY recommend downloading it if you are not already on the latest leaked OS versions.
Thanks to everyone who sent this in and Tracey for the screenshot.

Do you think devices with leaked higher OS versions (e.g., .4687) will get the Verizon update? If so, is there any benefit to installing the official update?

Verizon is stuck under contract to sell 72 million iPhones before the end of the year or they will owe Apple $14 billion. So it no surprise that they would delay vital updates for users of “other” devices.

Who would sign such a deal with a $14 billion penalty?

Have I said shame a thousand times yet? Shame! Shame! Shame on Verizon. How can you treat your customers that way? Forget the fact that you aren’t hot for BlackBerry, but to leave your customers on a very early release of BlackBerry 10 for over four months? That’s almost criminal! Shame!!!!
