BlackBerry A10 Rumored Specs Detailed in Leaked Slide

A_Series Slide

We have been hearing quite a bit about the rumored BlackBerry A10 (Codename Aristo) and the fun just doesn’t stop. Now we have what looks like a leaked slide from May 2013 posted by a newbie on CrackBerry forums for the A-Series device specs. The specs are disheartening for some that were expecting flagship hardware but they do improve on the Z10. Still I hope this is a dated slide deck and BlackBerry has updated the internals. We know they have multiple prototypes going around so it should be interesting to see how the device finally launches.

The main feature that concerns me is the non-removable battery. That is just a stupid move in a BlackBerry device or any device for that matter. It takes away user flexibility for very little added benefit.

  1. Will Heins be apologizing in about April of 2014 for such soft specs on the A10?

    • I fully agree. It isn’t quite what I expected. It’s a quad core GPU not CPU. In fact, I think he’ll be apologizing when it is released in November. This is just a replacement for the Z10 in November in a slightly larger form factor – 5 inch screen and bigger battery.

      • Yeah I am hoping for a spec bump on this one. Its not killer without it but it will definitely be lagging in terms of the competition. BlackBerry would have to differentiate with software then.

  2. Is it possible the flagship device is still to come?
I can see the need for sooner rather than later but given so many other things that need to be put in order, maybe that is the plan?

  3. If this is their idea of a competitive flagship device someone has to wake ’em up. With a slap. Coz that’s how reality does it.
