FastTube – The Ultimate YouTube Player for BlackBerry 10 Now Updated

IMG_00000621

FastTube is a new way to watch your YouTube on your BlackBerry 10 device and watch it even more smoothly than before. The app is available in BlackBerry World and is free to download with in app purchase. One of the nice things about FastTube is that you can sign in with your gmail and manage your subscriptions, channels, playlists, and favorites. It’s nice to know what you can do besides just finding YouTube videos to watch. I like signing in to watch my videos and my channels, so it’s a real plus for me to have that available.

So what does the new update include?

  • A new clean UI
  • Full account support
  • Embedded player
  • Videos sharing

Add this to the features of FastTube which are:

  • Play videos in HD and High Quality
  • Option to play in low resolution for slow internet connection.
  • Option for Country-wise browsing.
  • Full Account support.
  • Manage your playlist, subscriptions, favorites and uploaded videos.
  • Shows comments, description and related videos.

You can download your copy of FastTube from BlackBerry World for free here

  1. App World? OR BB World ^^

  2. In The Beginning, there was App World and it was renamed this year to BlackBerry World. The renaming was part of a rebranding initiative that included renaming Research in Motion to BlackBerry. I could speculate that the move also allowed more differentiation between BlackBerry’s App World and some of the knock-off phones’ App Worlds as well.

  3. Yeah I still correct myself inline a few times. Glad they changed it

  4. Does this app provide landscape capability?

Also, very important, when it says that there is “full account support” and that it will “show comments,…”, is a user able to reply to a comment directly on one of their uploaded videos like they can on the YouTube website, basically having communication directly on the video instead of through PM response?

In addition, what is the cost to upgrade the app in order to have full account access?

    Thanks!
