Mireo Offline GPS Navigation App Adds BlackBerry Q10 Support & Free Trial

Mireo is awesome for bringing the first offline GPS navigation option to BlackBerry 10. They have now upped their game by updating the app with BlackBerry Q10 support (thank you!) along with a trial option for you to take a test run. I personally really dug the offline option on my Z10 and am glad it is finally here for my Q10.

  1. Main problem with this app is that it does not support storing maps on SD card and the size of North America map is 2GB+
Otherwise I would buy it today. I wonder what’s stopping them from supporting SD cards? I know so many people holding buying this app just because of this.

  2. once we get 10.2 and host mode, they will be able to a lot more things to make stuff like this easier

  3. Could somebody please explain “Offline GPS Navigation”?
I don’t get it!!!!!!!!!!! What does it mean????????????
Doesn’t it uses data while displaying the map??????????????

    I don’t get it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. I just downloaded the app and bought the DACH map. It`s really a very good navigation app. You just pay for the maps and thats it. 17 Euro for thre countries is cheap. Thanks – Now my Q10 is a full navigation system with a lot of POI features (like next petrol station).
